Live Brief- Simon Gregory-Bowman Hall

Today we had a talk from a client, Simon Gregory, who would like us to come up with some ideas of how to convert a small community church into a living space. Bowman Hall is situated in Cockfield Village. The building was a Baptist church that was built in 1899. The church is stone built and must remain stone built to comply with the building regulations. The client is hoping for 3-4 bedrooms with en-suite, separate space for a studio for art and sculpting work. I am going to look into William Morris, Timourous Beasties and National Trust colours as they are what the client likes as themes.

I am looking forward to this project and may give the building a more traditional look with a modern twist.
